Located on the Alpine Pacific Touring route we are in the heart of the beautiful Hurunui region of the South Island. You'll feel far away from it all but you'll remain in comfortable driving distance to many great destinations.

Dining & Amenities

We welcome you to enjoy a farm to table home-cooked dinner with us at the Homestead. Or come with us on an outing to Lake Taylor to catch your own trout that we will smoke for a delicious meal that night. These options are available when you book with us. 

 

Ten minutes away, the rural farming town of Culverden has all the amenities you may need for necessary supplies, including supermarket, petrol stations, and a variety of cafes.

The historic Hurunui Hotel is just 900 metres down the road and offers dining at the cafe & bar 5 days a week. There is also a wide range of dining options at both Hanmer Springs and Amberley towns, both just 30 minutes drive away.

Waipara Wineries - 20 minutes
